With Hispanic Pride, Canela Media will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month until October 15.

The leading free streaming company, created and directed by Latinos, has announced a series of special collections of content led by Latinos.

Hispanic Pride content will extend across the entire Canela.TV ecosystem, featuring original series, news, music, children’s programming, and sports.

It will showcase the impact Latinos have had on shaping culture and making significant contributions in various areas of life.

«At Canela Media, we are dedicated to providing enriching content to the new generation of Latinos in the United States,» said Isabel Rafferty Zavala, founder and CEO of Canela Media.

«We believe that the best way to celebrate our heritage is to highlight Latinos who are breaking new ground in their respective fields,» added Isabel.

As well as remembering «those from previous generations who paved the way for them.»

She said, «By elevating their voices and stories, we aim to inspire a whole new generation of Latino superstars.»

1. Secretos de Villanas

Canela.TV’s programming for this Hispanic Pride special highlights a variety of Latino stars and original series.

It will be led by the highly anticipated second season of «Secretos de Villanas.»

This unique series brings together icons of telenovelas.

We can see talented actresses such as Aylín Mújica, Cynthia Klitbo, Gabriela Spanic, Geraldine Bazán, Sabine Moussier, Sarah Mintz, and Laura Zapata.

2. Secretos de las Indomables

Viewers can also enjoy the current and future episodes of the «Secretos» franchise: «Secretos de las Indomables.»

This series features six Latina superstars known for their unruly spirits.

They are Yuri, Ninel Conde, Alicia Machado, Patricia Manterola, Amara ‘La Negra,’ and Zuleyka Rivera.

They embark on a vacation together in Tulum and share experiences and unexpected moments in a luxurious villa in the heart of paradise.

3. Docuseries «Mi Vida»

Among other original productions is the docuseries «Mi Vida.»

It features beloved Latino celebrities.

These stars include Kate del Castillo, JenCarlos Canela, Julián Gil, Guy Ecker, Gaby Espino, and William Levy.

Also Roselyn Sánchez, Ludwika Paleta, Manolo Cardona, and Danny Trejo.

4. Hispanic Pride Movies

The movie selections for Hispanic Pride feature popular and acclaimed Latino actors in some of their most respected roles.

For example, Salma Hayek as the legendary artist Frida Kahlo in «Frida,» as well as in «Everly.»

Jennifer Lopez in «¿Bailamos?»; Gael García Bernal and Adriana Barraza in «Babel,» and Spanish star Oscar Jaenada as the famous Mexican superstar Cantinflas.

All of these options are currently available, with many more content offerings during Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15 to October 15.

5. Latino Pride on Canela News

For Hispanic Pride, Canela News presents «Hispanic Wealth,» a series of three special interviews profiling painter Hedy Torres.

The second topic will be Maysha Arellano, a muralist, educator, and activist whose works can be seen throughout southern California.

The third interview, on October 2, will focus on the female musical group «Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas,» who use their music for social justice.

And the entertainment news program «Ponle Canela!» will feature special profiles of figures like Peso Pluma, actress Kate del Castillo, and Lupillo Rivera.

6. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage with Canela Music

Leading what Canela Music brings to Hispanic Pride is a captivating collection: «What You’ll See on Canela Music Concerts.»

It features iconic live concert recordings of Selena, Marc Anthony, Maná, RBD, Shakira, and more, now available.

Canela Music will also feature series like «Raíces,» «Rising Notes,» and «Unidos por el Ritmo.»

The latter is a documentary series reflecting the commitment to help of Latin American artists like Chiquis Rivera, Ricardo Arjona, and Nacho, among others.

7. For the Little Ones

Canela Kids will launch «Celebrate Hispanic Heritage,» a special collection of children’s content.

This programming includes the already available first season of «SúperEllas,» introducing children to pioneering Latinas, including Frida Kahlo, Rita Moreno, and Isabel Allende.

Recently released, the series «Jillian’s Mystery Box» by pocket.watch tests the do-it-yourself skills of children’s video star JillianTubeHD.

Adding to the excitement is the premiere of «Las Crónicas del Zorro,» featuring a young Don Diego facing the biggest challenge of his life.

8. Canela Sports

Canela Sports celebrates Hispanic Pride with original programming such as «Idioma Futbol,» «El Dugout,» and «One on One.»

The latter will feature a «Hispanos En Deportes» segment, interviewing athletes such as MMA fighter Gastón Reyno and Venezuelan singer and sports commentator Adriana Monsalve.

It will also feature the farewell tennis match between Mónica Puig and Venus Williams.

Mónica Puig, a proud Puerto Rican, is the only Hispanic woman to have won an Olympic gold medal in singles tennis.
